S4AI Hub at EDIH Summit 2026 in Brussels: Serbia as Part of Europe’s AI Innovation Network

As artificial intelligence continues to transform industry, business, and the public sector, connecting knowledge, technology, and innovation has become essential for progress. This was one of the key topics discussed at the EDIH Summit 2026: Strengthening the AI Innovation Ecosystem, held on 9–10 June in Brussels.

Representing Serbia’s European Digital Innovation Hub for Artificial Intelligence — S4AI Hub — the event was attended by the Innovation Center of the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade (ICEF).

The Summit brought together representatives of the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network, EU institutions, AI infrastructures, and innovation organisations, with the aim of exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence adoption.

For S4AI Hub, participation in the Summit was an opportunity to connect with European partners, exchange knowledge, and further align the Hub’s services with European practices in AI technologies, digital transformation, and Industry 5.0.

S4AI Hub is implemented by a national consortium led by Science and Technology Park Nis, together with partners: Science Technology Park Čačak, ICEF, Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, Centre for Digital Transformation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, NiCAT Cluster, and ICT Hub.
