Exploring AI Opportunities, Smart Manufacturing and Early-Stage Startup Funding
S4AI took part in TechMomentum – the 9th Advanced Technologies Forum, held on June 11 and 12 at the Science and Technology Park Niš.
The S4AI Hub was represented at the event by Filip Ilić from ICT Hub, Filip Mrdak from CDT, and Ilija Radovanović from ICEF Belgrade, project partners contributing to discussions on topics relevant to SMEs, startups, and the application of advanced technologies in business and manufacturing.
During the fireside chat “AI Possibilities: Unlocking Opportunities for SMEs and Small Practices”, Filip Mrdak from CDT discussed the opportunities artificial intelligence can create for small and medium-sized enterprises and smaller business practices, as well as the ways AI can help improve operations, strengthen competitiveness, and accelerate digital transformation.
During the session “Advanced AI Technologies: Application and Smart Manufacturing”, Ilija Radovanović from ICEF Belgrade discussed the application of advanced AI technologies and their role in the development of smart manufacturing. The session focused on the opportunities modern AI solutions offer to industry, process automation, and the improvement of efficiency and competitiveness in manufacturing systems.
At the panel “Early-stage Startup Funding: How to Secure It”, Filip Ilić from ICT Hub addressed one of the key challenges faced by early-stage startups – identifying and securing suitable sources of funding. The discussion explored the challenges founders face when approaching investors and the steps they can take to better prepare for the fundraising process.
TechMomentum brought together experts, entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and representatives of the wider innovation ecosystem, creating space for knowledge exchange, new connections, and discussions about the technologies and opportunities shaping the future of business.
For the S4AI Hub, the Forum was another opportunity to contribute, through the knowledge and experience of its partners, to practical discussions on artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, access to funding, and the support needed to help SMEs and startups grow and develop.
