European Digital Innovation Hub on AI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project, a public call has been launched for the <\/span><b>Test Before Invest (TBI)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> service, aimed at companies and startups seeking to assess the applicability, technical feasibility, and potential benefits of digital technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions before making further investment decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The call represents a continuation of support for beneficiaries who have successfully completed the previous phase of the S4AI_HUB programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What Does Test Before Invest Offer?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TBI service enables companies to test digital and AI solutions in laboratory, simulated, controlled, or real-world environments, with the support of experts and access to relevant technological infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The support is provided through two service lines:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Testing existing digital solutions before investment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 assessing the applicability, functionality, and expected impact of existing technologies in specific business or production environments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Development and validation of new products and solutions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 testing the technical feasibility, functionality, and usability of prototypes, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and innovative digital solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the TBI process, beneficiaries gain access to expert support, relevant laboratories and testing infrastructure, as well as a report on testing results and recommendations for further implementation or technology development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Who Can Apply?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a <\/span><b>restricted call<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, intended for beneficiaries who have successfully completed the previous phase of the S4AI_HUB support programme and received a TBI voucher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligible applicants include micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), small mid-cap companies, as well as startups and innovative teams that meet the programme requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proposed projects must address a clearly defined technological or business challenge and have reached at least <\/span><b>Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL 4)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Duration and Value of Support<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TBI support is tailored to the specific needs of each beneficiary and is expected to last approximately <\/span><b>3 to 6 months<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The service is provided <\/span><b>free of charge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to selected beneficiaries, subject to available project resources and applicable funding and State aid rules.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>How to Apply?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span
